When Lalique decided it was time to work with a tequila brand, they naturally partnered with Patrón. Called the Patrón en Lalique: Serie 1, their first collaboration comes in the form of a limited-edition crystal decanter that has been handmade by master artisans. Combining French craftsmanship with Mexican heritage, only 500 pieces have been made and each carries a price tag of $7,500.
Inspired by the Weber Blue Agave plant, from which tequila is made, the decanter features a bottle stopper that has been shaped to resemble the heart of the plant. The tequila itself is a blend of rare Patrón spirits that have been hand-chosen from the company’s aging room at the Jalisco distillery in Mexico.
“The exclusive small batch of tequila we perfected for Patrón en Lalique: Serie 1 is a remarkable extra añejo tequila with a well-balanced taste and complex notes of sweet caramel, honey, vanilla, dried fruits and nuts,” says Francisco Alcaraz, Patrón’s Master Distiller who created the original recipe and process for Patrón tequila more than two decades ago. “This is a stunningly beautiful spirit, both inside and out.”
Each Patrón en Lalique is numbered, hand-polished and arrives inside a bespoke leather display case. Contact Patrón directly to reserve one.
