“I’m so honored to make this apron with Cooks Who Feed. I helped design it, it says ‘Food is Love’ on it, and it gives back to God’s Love We Deliver,” explains Chef Amanda Freitag. “It’s really cool. To give a gift that gives back is honestly my favorite thing to do.”
With every apron sold through Cooks Who Feed, 100 meals are given out to those in need. Plus, the aprons are handmade using fair trade practices. Marginalized women in India make the aprons, providing them a safe way to earn a living wage. To date, the company have provided over 1.6 million meals worldwide and tens of thousands of fair trade work hours to marginalized women.
