Revitalize your wellness routine with a one-of-a-kind adventure that blends breathtaking nature, Napa Valley history, and premium, estate-grown Napa wines. Welcome to Palisades Canyon, one of Napa Valley's newest wineries, where you can experience the great outdoors in a novel way—via an exclusive, year-round hiking experience. This rare, “Into the Wild" opportunity invites guest to venture into the private sanctuary of Palisades Canyon founders Felicia Woytak and Steve Rasmussen, and experience the beauty of their rugged property and hiking trails just as they do.

Experience Napa Valley Like Never Before
Since launching in October 2024, Palisades Canyon has garnered the attention of oenophiles interested in Napa Valley heritage farming and winemaking. The property is a breathtaking 796-acre estate, nestled at the base of the majestic Palisades cliffs, just east of Calistoga, and surrounded by thousands of acres of pristine nature. The CCOF-certified organic vineyard boasts a viticultural history dating to the 1870s, and produces wines that reflect the rich history and natural beauty of this special place.
The “Into the Wild” experience offers guests a chance to explore the property’s pristine wilderness, and afterward, its exceptional wines—crafted by fourth-generation winemaker, grape grower, and Napa historian Graeme MacDonald. This isn’t your typical winery tour; it’s an immersive experience designed for those who crave both physical adventure and a deeper connection to the land.

A Hike Tailored to You
Your “Into the Wild” hike begins early, with Felicia or Steve leading the way. Whether you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping challenge or a more leisurely stroll, this customized hike can be tailored to your preferred pace. Over the course of one to three hours, you’ll navigate the vineyard's loamy valley floor and iron-rich hillsides, ascending towards the towering Palisades Cliffs in the distance. Along the way, you’ll cross diverse vegetation zones, each showcasing a new set of wildflowers—especially stunning in the spring—before entering an enchanting forest of oak, madrone, bay, and manzanita trees.
The hike culminates in a jaw-dropping lookout point, offering sweeping views of the Palisades and northern Napa Valley. After soaking in the views, you’ll descend back into the vineyard, where you can explore Horns Creek, the birthplace of the canyon’s first, 1870s-planted vines, and visit the remains of Bonded Winery No. 118, a Prohibition-era “ghost winery.” Here, history, adventure, and stunning landscapes are rolled into one unforgettable experience.

Finish with Flavor
Having worked up an appetite, your adventure ends with a delicious lunch at renowned Solbar at Solage Resort & Spa. Here, your hosts will guide you through a tasting of Palisades Canyon’s newest wine releases, perfectly paired with your meal. The winery produces a unique portfolio including Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and old-vine Petite Sirah, all made from head-trained grapes—a method that honors Napa Valley’s farming traditions while producing wines of unparalleled character.
