The much anticipated alternative music festival Reykjavik Music Mess is set to last all weekend, and with it will come a host of the most diverse set of music to hit the city in years. With a roster featuring bands from across the globe, the event promises to be one to remember.

Icelandic alternative music festival Reykjavik Music Mess will be held from 24th to 26th of May, from Friday to Sunday. The festival will be located on two venues, the main shows will be hosted at Volta, an all new concert venue and club in downtown Reykjavik.

Kex Hostel will also participate with a series of free shows each night at 8pm at their wonderful restaurant.

Among the first bands to be confirmed for performance on Reykjavik Music Mess are the lovely electro quartet Bloodgroup, who recently released their best work yet, the gripping Tracing Echoes.
