He's famous all over the world, but for one night only Reykjavik will have exclusive access to the legendary rock-star Jeff Beck as he rocks out at the Háskólabíó theater. While there are plenty of concerts to see in Reykjavik, there's only one featuring a rock legend of Beck's caliber, and that's Beck's performance itself.

English rock guitarist legend Jeff Beck arrived in Iceland yesterday. He stays at the Hilton Hotel Nordica in Reykjavik and will play a concert in Reykjavík tonight.

Beck showed up at the hotel around 5 pm yesterday in a stately Cadillac.

Icelandic band Mezzoforte will warm the crowd up tonight before Beck and his crew.

Mezzoforte is an instrumental funk fusion-band from Iceland. Their greatest hit was “Garden Party” in 1983.

The band is named after the traditional musical term “mezzoforte”, an instruction to play “half-loudly”.
