Based in Glenwood Springs since 1973, Alpine Bank on Monday said it's coming down from the hills.
In a planned move into the front range, the $2.4 billion bank said it's picked an undisclosed spot in downtown Denver for a location expected to open in the third quarter of 2013.
The move is to be headed by Norm Franke, a 30-year Alpine veteran and its new regional president. Franke had spearheaded the bank's expansion into Mesa County. Clay Tufly was named to replace Franke as Mesa County regional president. Read More on denverpost.com
