Armed with a dangerous and presumably lethal box of porn and fake police badge, one Ryan James Purdy has been on the run from Seattle police for several months with his latest grand heist taking the form of a pat-down and theft of an unfortunate man's bank card. His misadventures continued with an attempt to enter a woman’s home, to which she replied with a very succinct door to the face.

A man wanted for impersonating a police officer and robbing people in a Seattle park is still on the run, and he’s armed with a box of porn, police said.

Since December, detectives have been searching for Ryan James Purdy, 46, who is also known as Tracy Byers. Police said he approached several people in Volunteer Park that month, flashed a fake badge at his victims, and fled with their cash and credit cards.

“Since we posted Purdy’s picture on the Blotter, detectives believe he’s tried to pull his fake cop scam on two other occasions, most recently in North Seattle,” department spokesman Jonah Spagenthal-Lee said in a statement.
