Star-Advertiser The eager anticipation for the new, much more convenient route to the Chinese island is over as Hawaiian Airlines has opened its gates and put tickets on sale for its direct flights between Honolulu and Taipei. Though the final details are to be hammered out with the Taiwanese government, flights are expected to run on Sundays, Tuesday and Thursdays and arrive the following day.
Hawaiian Airlines began selling tickets today for its new nonstop service between Honolulu and Taipei, Taiwan, which launches July 9 with flights offered three days weekly.
Round-trip fares for travel in July, which is high season, start at TWD40,049 for travel originating in Taipei and $1,369 for travel originating in Honolulu. Read More on staradvertiser.com
