This week, Oberoi Hotel Group announced the opening of its new property in Dubai’s Al Zorah, a sustainable development complex. Al Zorah is nestled within 247 acres of protected forest and is surrounded by the Ajman coastline, blue lagoons, green mangroves and white sand beaches.
Come summer of 2016, the community will be home to The Oberoi, Al Zorah which will include 113 guestrooms, villas, suites and penthouses. Accommodations will feature modern and elegant designs and furnishings while making use of natural lighting to illuminate each space. Each guestroom boasts a private balcony while villas and suites come with spacious terraces and temperature controlled, private pools. Since we’re living in the digital age, guests will be able to use the Oberoi E'nhance iPad interface to manage everything from in-room dining to entertainment.
Among its dining venues will be the main restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner, as well as the Beach Restaurant and bar offering lunch and dinner only. The former will be surrounded by a body of water, giving off a floating island affect. The menu will feature international cuisine, hand crafted by chefs inside a unique glass-enclosed kitchen. Resting on a labyrinth of natural wooden decks, the Beach eatery will be the place to go for fine, hand-crafted delicacies.
When it comes to on-site amenities, the resort offers a championship golf course and a beautifully-designed spa. Inspired by the architecture of ancient Madina, it will feature open-air corridors, a hammam, fully-equipped gym and a 150-foot pool. Parents can also take advantage of the facility’s children's activity area and shallow swimming pool as well. For more active endeavors, guests can partake in kayaking, dune driving, sky-diving and other activities available through the property.
Along with the Al Zorah property, the brand will add The Oberoi Marrakech and The Oberoi Sukhvilas to their collection in 2016.
