Guests of the Singapore Zoo or Jurong Bird Park will have been in the presence of hundreds of animals during the day; but there are still so many more to see when the sun goes down. Over 1.1 million people each year visit the Night Safari for a chance to catch more than 2,500 animals in their naturalistic habitats. The most popular attraction at the park is the Tram Safai which brings groups on a 40-minute ride through seven geological zones of the world: Himalayan Foothills, Indian Subcontinent, Equatorial Africa, Indo-Malayan Region, Asian Riverine Forest, Nepalese River Valley, and Burmese Hillside. Exotic animals like bharals, markhors, mouflons, striped hyenas, babirusas, Malayan tigers and more call these places home and can be spotted during this evening tour.
