The St. Regis San Francisco is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a special Art of Tea afternoon tea service. The afternoon tea will celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon and can be enjoyed Thursdays through Sundays until February 25 from 2 to 4pm in the St. Regis San Francisco Tea Salon.
The service will include both savory and sweet Asian inspired treats, a welcome glass of champagne and a selection of Tealeaves Art of Tea teas.
Dim Sum savory bites include chicken potstickers, mushroom and spinach dumplings, Peking duck, Xiao long bao and Har Gao. Sweets include a matcha roll, rose water choux, tropical tart and sesame mochi scones.
Tea choices from Tealeaves include Pu-Erh Tou Cha, a black thick smooth tea; Imperial Dragonwell, a green tea; Organic Jasmine Pearl, a white loose leaf tea and Iron Goddess of Mercy, an oolong tea.
Reservations can be made via OpenTable, the Art of Tea is $150 per person.
