City Guides : My favorite street of a musical is coming to San Diego: Avenue Q, the world wide hit musical featuring puppets embodying the conflicts and struggles of today's 20-something year old, comes to America's Finest city from July 6th-11th at the Civic Center. It seems absurd to imagine that a cast of cute puppets could portray life in New York City and the ups and downs of being young, broke, and constantly confused. I have to admit though Avenue Q can't help but delight, amuse, and inspire me time after time with a range of songs, from the racy to the poignant.
