If you’ve been dreaming of attending the Philadelphia edition of Dîner en Blanc, this could be your lucky year. The annual, white-themed picnic is one of the most prestigious events of the season—a who’s who of the city. Held in multiple locations all over the world, Dîner en Blanc is notoriously hard to get into with limited seating, exclusive invites and minimal openings. But this year the Philadelphia edition has opened up 1,000 seats for new guests, bringing the total seating to 4,300. But with over 26,000 people on the waiting list the chances that you’ll nab a seat are one in six. Not terrible odds, right?
The event will be held in Philadelphia on August 20th this year, and over the next two months seats will be released in waves. The first seats will be released to returning guests, the second will be released to invitees of returning guests and finally a lottery will be held for the final seats open for newcomers. If you haven’t registered yet, jump on it immediately, as you could be one of the lucky few to win a coveted spot at the city’s most luxurious event.
