Planned for a fall 2015 opening, One Liberty Place in Philadelphia will soon be debuting its a sky-high observation deck on the 57th floor. The new addition will offer panoramic views of the city, as well as the other skyscrapers in Liberty Place—including the Two Liberty Place skyscraper next door.
The One Liberty Observation Deck is being built by Montparnasse 56 (M56), a Parisian company that has already created decks in Chicago’s John Hancock Tower and its own Montparnasse 56 Tower in Paris. According to Visit Philadelphia, aside from giving visitors photo ops at 945 feet off the ground, the new addition will also feature “interactive elements and artistic installations.”
While One Liberty Observation Deck won’t be the city’s only viewing point—there’s also the City Hall Tower Observation Deck, and the R2L and XIX Nineteen restaurants—it seems like it may be the coolest. Tickets will be available online prior to its big opening and will reportedly cost $14 for kids and $19 for adults.
