The six-room Chateau de la Resle hotel in Burgundy, France, is a welcoming destination that offers guests the comfort and feel of a private residence. Brimming with style and culture, the property also happens to have a visually striking collection of arts. In fact, the hotel's Dutch owners Pieter Fra and Johan Bouman are so entrenched with the fine art world that they're starting their own design label to be branded with the same name as the hotel.
These hoteliers have already proven their expertise in the arts, so much so that though they've only just launched the label, they have been invited to show their entire collection in the Spazio Rossana Orlandi showroom during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile design fair in Milan from April 8-13, 2014.
Though Chateau de la Resle is located in France (and rather close to the world-famous Chablis wine-making region), the duo has maintained a close stylistic and artistic connection to their roots in the Netherlands. Pieces on display will feature some incredible work by super exclusive designers and studios Roderick Vos, De Intuitiefabriek, Jeroen Wand, Carolina Wilcke, Daphna Laurens, Kranen/Gille and Reinier Bosch. The work will range from glassware and lighting elements to furniture and tableware.
