Pérez Art Museum Miami

Formerly the Miami Art Museum, the Perez Art Museum Miami has expressed the artistic individuality of worldwide talents since 1984. The modern and contemporary space, which is known to exhibit international art from the past two centuries, saw record visitors within its first four months of reopening with its new name in 2013 ? over 150,000 people to be exact. Seeking to improve the lives of Miami residents, the museum strives to engage in dialogue with visitors regarding what art means in the 21st century.

Its holdings include some 1,800 pieces from artists like John Baldessari, Joseph Cornell, Wifredo Lam, and Purvis Young.
