Luminosa at Jungle Island
A celebration of light and nature, Jungle Island’s Luminosa is an enchanting experience for all ages, transporting guests into a fairytale filled with more than 40 monumental, handcrafted lamp scenes. In collaboration with LEKTRIK Art, more than 150 tons of steel, 200,000 feet of silk-like fabric, 56,000 LED bulbs and 700,000 feet of LED light strips are installed to bring this magical project to life. Guests start at the grand archway and story walkway, with massive, animated books that appear to open and close, while butterflies flap their wings. Woven throughout the grounds, there are dazzling themed displays at every corner—including towering dragon lanterns, a candy-themed playground, and tropical bioluminescent effects that are unreal.
