When Kapow Noodle Bar decided to make a move to a larger space in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park, they were looking to not only expand their presence, but offer guests an even more memorable dining experience.
A staple here since 2011, the new space allowed them to double their seating capacity while at the same time introducing an elevated menu along with a premium sake program. (Kapow also has a second location in West Palm Beach).
The 5,175-square-foot space operated by Sub-Culture Group now boasts an omakase bar, an indoor/outdoor wraparound bar, three karaoke rooms, and a covered patio for alfresco dining.
From the moment you arrive at the colorful space, you know you are in for something special. The stylish interior features several mesmerizing murals from local artists complemented by a southeast Asian flair. The menu here offers familiar staples, along with some more untraditional finds, including an omakase tasting experience.
Start off with one of their signature cocktails like a Mai Tai or a fruity, strong, or spicy concoction with fun names like our favorite - the Spicy Lover made with cilantro, serrano, cucumber, and citrus. The enormous food menu is easily approachable as it is broken down into categories like snacks and small plates, signature crispy rice, Gyoza tacos, dim sum, steamed buns, noodles and rice, and main flavors.
A visit to Kapow Noodle Bar would be remiss without trying some of their famous noodle dishes.
Their enormous shrimp pad Thai dish is served with fresh bean sprouts, lime, tamarind, coriander, fried egg, and peanuts tossed with soft Banh Pho noodles.
New to the lunch menu is the addition of beautifully presented, a made-to-order sushi selection, including a tasty ahi tuna roll.
The menu here is best designed for sharing. From their Dim Sum selections, be sure to try the savory Wagyu beef pot stickers or the crisp and juicy Vietnamese chicken wings, well-seasoned and served with a side of spicy Gochujang hot sauce offering the perfect amount of heat and addicting Tobanjan-lime ponzu for dipping.
Pillowy steamed buns like the uber tender Char Sui pork belly and the delightfully crunchy Karaage Japanese fried chicken arrive in bamboo baskets and can be ordered individually.

The flavor filled skirt steak lo Mein is a true standout made with wok-fried wheat noodles, baby Bok choy, red pepper, kimchi-hoisin sauce, and fresh scallions.
They also offer spicy beef basil, lobster lo Mein, miso sake salmon, chicken chow fun, and handheld sandwiches including an Oishi Wagyu burger.
The BBQ duck and ginger fried rice was the declared winning dish of the table, a flavorful medley of five vegetables, hoisin glaze and egg. Other popular dishes here include their famous Peking duck, tuna poke bowl, and lobster Rangoon.
Keep an eye out for their next venture, a New Orleans-inspired restaurant known as Penelope that will be opening in the former Kapow location.
Kapow Noodle Bar is located at 402 Plaza Real in Boca Raton, Florida.
