The spa is cloud-like, decorated in white on white, it will leave you floating, trust me.
I was lucky enough to have had a treatment at this heavenly spa and even luckier to have enjoyed it with my special someone, which is where the Ciel Spa shines: couples treatments.
A treatment for two at the Ciel is ideal for celebrating a birthday or re-connecting on an anniversary. May I suggest the “Soul to Soul” treatment, sheer luxury and perfect for a romance injected holiday such as Valentine’s Day.
Upon our arrival we were pampered. Greeted with fluffy white robes, slippers and a delightful concoction of pineapple juice and aloe, a sort of amuse bouche. We immediately began to slip into that familiar yet euphoric state, relaxation.
Our Spa state of mind was only enhanced by the luxurious pre-treatment lounge. The makings for the perfect intimate setting, the lounge was complete with private resting areas sectioned off by flowing curtains, white of course.
The lounge is only the starting point for intimacy. The “Soul to Soul “treatment commences with a 25 minute soak in a deep tub, full of bubbles with one for each half of the pair, although they just happen to be large enough for two to share. Insert wink, wink here. As you bathe, your mind begins to soften just as much as your skin and then you are lead to your heated massage table where a 60 - minute massage ensues. Candlelight and aromatherapy share the air and all of the sudden you have succumbed to the romance. As if you were ever resistant!
What makes the “Soul to Soul” and the CielSpa overall most enjoyable is the service. It’s impeccable and the vibe is the least bit snobby, but in fact welcoming while still maintaining that VIP feel for guests.
