Cesare Ristorante, nestled between West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, brings the essence of Forte dei Marmi in Tuscany to the heart of Beverly Grove. Owned by seasoned restaurateur Cesare Vietina—formerly the co-owner of Madeo Ristorante—and his wife Pamela, the restaurant exudes warmth and sophistication. Its inviting ambiance is enhanced by dim lighting, cozy chocolate leather booths, crisp white-linen tables, and a charming outdoor patio. Guests can also enjoy a stylish bar, perfect for sharing cocktails and appetizers.
The menu showcases a variety of authentic Italian delights, with a standout selection of pinsas—lighter, airier versions of traditional pizza made from a blend of wheat and spelt flour for a crisp and flavorful base. Options include the classic Margherita with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil; prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella; French brie with brie cheese and pear; and salami with mozzarella. Each is delightful, though the brie and pear combination is particularly exceptional.
Appetizers are equally enticing, featuring branzino with microgreens, white beans with shrimp and green onions, filet mignon carpaccio with baby artichokes, meatballs in marinara sauce, eggplant baked with tomatoes and mozzarella, fresh buffalo burrata, and a variety of vibrant salads.

Pastas are traditional and delicious including spaghetti bottarga, penne with tomato and basil; rigatoni with guanciale and tomato sauce; Bolognese; penne with prosciutto and peas; pesto gnocchi; raicotta cheese and spinach ravioli; spaghetti with clams; spaghetti with lobster in a tomato sauce; risotto with porcini mushrooms and risotto with mixed seafood.

The main courses at Cesare Ristorante are equally enticing, offering a selection of expertly prepared dishes such as grilled New York steak, veal scaloppine with Marsala, veal chop Milanese, herb-grilled chicken, grilled scampi, grilled branzino, salmon with lemon sauce, and branzino in a flavorful tomato sauce.
For dessert, indulge in the millefoglie layered with fresh whipped cream, a refreshing lemon and strawberry tart, or the timeless classic tiramisu.
The cocktail menu is just as impressive, complemented by an extensive selection of fine wines to suit every palate.
Cesare Ristorante welcomes guests from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and extends its hours until 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations can be made through OpenTable or by calling (310) 273-3605.
