The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has launched Veil & Velvet this holiday season, offering a stylish atmosphere, along with an elevated menu of creative cocktails, wines, and small bites. The new speakeasy experience will be open through March 3, 2025.
Upon entering Veil & Velvet, guests are immediately transported into a sleek, contemporary space that feels both intimate and expansive. The vibe is cosmopolitan yet laid-back, with soft dark lighting and a calming ambiance that invites guests to unwind. Plush leather seating, velvet and dark wood accents transform the bar area into an exclusive speakeasy experience.
Talented mixologists curate the drink menu at Veil & Velvet and the cocktail offerings are inventive, using fresh, high-quality ingredients that elevate familiar classics and introduce new flavors. The menu features a variety of signature cocktails including the Veil & Velvet with cognac, lillet, Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque, orange and vanilla Oleo Saccarum and lemon, the Miss Sophie with vanilla infused vodka, ginger, lime and a pineapple coconut rum foam, the Love Affair with tequila silver, spiced pomegranate and San Pellegrino Aranciata and the Continental Sour with bourbon, lemon, sugar, clarified milk and a red wine float.
The lounge also offers a variety of martinis with gin, vodka, and vermouth.
The food menu, while relatively light, features an array of prepared small bites that are perfect for pairing with cocktails. Seafood bites include a shrimp cocktail, oysters, crab roll and caviar service. Guests can push a tabletop button to receive a bump of caviar to be eaten with milk bread toast points, butter, a sous vide egg yolk and chives. Bigger bites include a French onion dip sandwich, a Wagyu burger with truffle aioli, truffle fries, a delicious chophouse wedge salad and crispy chicken bites with maple syrup and shaved black truffle. Desserts are decadent including a huge hot fudge sundae and an elegant chocolate Napoletana.
Whether you're visiting for a pre-dinner cocktail or enjoying a more extended evening with friends, the new Veil and Velvet Lounge is flexible and accommodates a range of moods and occasions. The mix of plush seating areas, intimate nooks, and more open, communal spots makes it an ideal place for after-work drinks to a celebratory night out.
Veil & Velvet is located at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and is open Sunday to Saturday from 3pm to midnight. Reserve through Open Table.
