Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating the return of yuletide favorites Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Grinchmas beginning Friday, November 26. Holiday festivities are included in the price of admission.
Catch Reopens at Hotel Casa Del Mar
American seafood restaurant Catch reopens at Hotel Casa Del Mar on November 2. In addition to a sushi and raw bar, the menu highlights include a 16 oz Ribeye bone-in steak, braised short ribs, seared Chilean sea bass, whole Main lobster, black squid ink pasta, roasted Cinderella pumpkin soup and black truffle mashed potatoes. The restaurant will be open from 5pm to 9pm from Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations can be made via OpenTable
Sugar Palm Opens at Viceroy Santa Monica
Sugar Palm, a new indoor/outdoor coastal dining concept has opened at the Viceroy Santa Monica. Open for daily brunch and dinner, is a part of the overall $21 million redesign of the LA beachside hotel. Open for brunch from 6:30am to 2:30pm and dinner from 3pm to 10pm. ROCA Pizza Launches New Fall Flavors
ROCA Pizza pop-up at The Americana at Brand in Glendale has launched new fall pizza flavors, salads, and desserts. Diners can get pizza by the slice or in a pan including new pepperoni hot honey, and sausage and mushroom flavors as well as sample their new Italian chopped salad and BBQ chicken chopped salad.
Fellow Westwood Debuts New Fall Dishes
Fellow in Westwood has added a variety of new dishes for their fall menu, including Hamachi crudo, marinated heirloom tomato salad, black truffle gnocchi and poached apple.
El Pollo Loco Give Away: Tow Pan de Muerto Bread with Familia Dinners on November 1
In honor of Dia de los Muertos, El Pollo Loco is giving away two personal-sized loaves of its Pan de Muerto bread with every Familia Dinner purchase on Monday, November 1. This Mexican sweet bread is flavored with orange blossom and anise.
Honey Mama’s Raw Bars Teams with Erewhon Market for Special 4-Pack Greatest Hits, Pop-Up Events in November
Honey Mama’s, a Portland maker of raw bars, is partnering with Erewhon Markets to launch a Honey Mama’s x Erewhon Greatest Hits 4-Pack ($19.99) of bars featuring Lavender Rose, Tahini Tangerine, Coconut and Oregon Mint flavors. The restaurant will serve a three course menu that will highlight the Thanksgiving classics with a twist from new Executive Chef Sean Michael Runyon. Featuring vegan options and festive cocktails, the Thanksgiving menu, will be served from 11AM to 9PM at $115 per person in addition to a special Thanksgiving kids men for $45. Tasty starters include Pumpkin Soup and dishes that celebrate the hotel’s oceanfront locale like Lobster Tartine, Hamachi Crudo, and Oyster on the Shell. Entrees include Heritage Turkey with all of the Thanksgiving fixings, Braised Short Rib, Pan Seared Diver Scallops and more. Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Pie Bites, and Vegan Almond Chocolate Tarts complete the meal.
Casa Del Mar, Catch and Terrazza
Restaurants Catch and Terrazza will offer a three course menu with choices including squash soup, crab cakes, roasted brassicas, organic turkey, Wagyu short ribs, branzino, vegetarian squash steak, chocolate poached pear tart and bread pudding for $115. Available lunch and dinner, 11am to 4pm and 5 to 9 pm.
Meat on Ocean and 555 East
On Thanksgiving Day, Meat on Ocean will be offering a three-course Thanksgiving meal including herb roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, candied yams and gravy, $68 per person. Their full menu will also be available. Reservations at Open Table.
Jean-Georges Beverly Hills
Jean-Georges Beverly Hills will offer a Thanksgiving menu on November 26th featuring a family-style experience complete with roasted turkey, butternut squash soup, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts and pumpkin pie. The menu will be offered from 3pm to 8pm with prices starting at $210 per person and $75 per child. The Rooftop by JG will offer their original menu in addition to a special Thanksgiving plate that includes roasted turkey with truffle chestnut stuffing and cranberry sauce with mashed potatoes for $59. The restaurant will be open from 11am-10pm and prices will be a la carte.
