In celebration of Chinese New Year, etco Homes hosted The House Club’s Feng Shui Master Zhi Wang to conduct a live reading of two One Coast model homes. During the live reading, Master Zhi Wang assessed the ancient design principles believed to inspire balance and prosperity, from yin-yang décor selections to One Coast’s unique orientation facing the Pacific and leaning against the Santa Monica Mountains — a principle known to bring good luck.
Throughout his tour of One Coast Model 303 and 604, Master Zhi Wang called out the design elements that lend themselves to good Feng Shui, including the hallway artwork on the ground floor inviting good energy to guests heading into the guest bedroom. Other distinctions Master Wang called out included how the back patio overhang serves as a fortress offering homeowners protection, reflecting a good sense of security for future owners. This design choice aligns with the community’s overall sense of privacy and security, with its 24/7 guard gate. When entering the master bedroom and bathroom, the Feng Shui master attributed the spherical shapes in the master bedroom such as the chandelier and soaking tub bringing balance with their circular shapes representing infinity. Meanwhile, the oval soaking tub – positioned prominently by a floor-to-ceiling window with ocean views – balances its counterpart, the square, angular shower to usher in a healthy flow of Chi in the space.
