With a “sexy casual” dress code, the 9th Annual Calabasas Malibu Food & Wine Festival later this month is promising to be a duo of evenings not to be missed. During the weekend of June 26–27, guests will be treated to some of the best food, wine and spirits from around the nation.
The eateries represented will be doling out hearty tastings (not just sample bites) of their best haute cuisine, and the well-planned festival is set up so there are never any lines or waiting for dishes. So go prepared to eat! Aside from enjoying the food, guests will be able to sip on a wide range of premium selections of wine and beer as well as vodka, tequila, bourbon, whiskey and sake.
More than 100 vendors will be present for the evening including STK Los Angeles, Toscana, Maggiano's Little Italy, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, the Patina Restaurant Group and even the iconic PINKS. You can also look forward to sipping on beverages provided by Veuve Clicquot, SoCal Vineyard, High West Distillery and Grand Marnier.
The Emperors Jazz Combo will be the musical entertainment for the night and DJ Roca will be providing beats in the VIP area. A live and silent auction will also give guests the opportunity to bid on a brand new BMW i8 as well as sports and music memorabilia.
General admission tickets are available for $100, and VIP tickets — which includes early entrance (read: more time for food!) and a souvenir wine glass — are priced at $150. Proceeds will benefit the Chill Foundation in Los Angeles which uses snowboarding and other board sports to build self-esteem and life skills to under-served youth.
Held at the Calabasas Country Club, the event has sold out each of its eight years running, so make sure you get your tickets soon so you can mingle with Calabasas', Malibu's, and Hidden Hills’ finest.
