The Third Annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival will take over the city’s Heart of Art event on Grand Avenue from August 22-25, 2013. Featuring a dynamic line-up of recognized culinary and music industry stars, this four day epicurean extravaganza will pull out all the stops to highlight LA as a global food destination. Add the glitz and glamour of this iconic entertainment capital and you’ve got the recipe for a stellar weekend of world-class dining, wine and entertainment.
Among the many offerings of the festival, organized by Coastal Luxury Management, who also are responsible for Pebble Beach Food and Wine in conjunction with FOOD & WINE magazine, below are a few highlights.
Italian cuisine California style will be served up by culinary luminaries including Giada De Laurentiis and Thomas Keller. Along with unlimited tasting, over two hundred wines, brews and spirits will be served to quaff your thirst.
Tacos & Tequila at The Bungalow Santa Monica will feature the cuisine of Rick Bayless and Ray Garcia. On Grand Avenue, the Asian Night Market will serve up the best global cuisine that LA has to offer. Iron Chef Morimoto along with Bryant Ng (Spice Table), Kris Yenbamroong (Night + Market), David Myers (Hinoki & The Bird) will also be tempting your taste buds that evening.
This event caps off the festival with offers of many exciting and tasty morsels and tantalizing beverages from the entire culinary and viticultural cast of the festival. As a final treat, musical performer Gavin DeGraw will hold a concert to close-out the weekend.
A portion of the festival proceeds will go towards addressing childhood hunger in Los Angeles and across America.
