Time to loosen your belts, foodies. It’s dineLA’s Restaurant Week, the 12-day dining event showcasing Los Angeles as a premier dining destination while highlighting the diversity of culinary experiences LA has to offer. Presented by the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board in partnership with American Express®, dineLA’s Restaurant Week will take place July 15-26. It includes more than 330 of the county’s restaurants, from Southeast-Asian fare to traditional steakhouse, rustic farm-to-table to white table cloth; most of which are offering prix-fixe deals.
As a testament to Los Angeles’ vibrant and ever-evolving dining scene, some of the city’s most sought-after restaurants have joined the record-setting list of those participating in this bi-annual event. Noteworthy newcomers include Silver Lake’s gastropub, Black Hogg; Hollywood hotspot, littlefork; Los Feliz’ standout, MESSHALL; and Abbott Kinney’s darling Willie Jane.
These new additions join Los Angeles’ most acclaimed chefs in showcasing the city’s best cuisine. DineLA’s Restaurant Week features chefs Bryant Ng of The Spice Table; Suzanne Goin of Lucques, Tavern and The Larder at Burton Way; and Sang Yoon of Father’s Office and Lukshon. Also, from season five of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters Neal Fraser of BLD will join the lineup. Lunch menus are offered between $15 to $25 and dinner menus range from $25 to $45.
“We are looking forward to being part of dineLA’s summer restaurant week. It’s such an incredible time to dine in Los Angeles,” said Ricardo Zarate, Executive Chef/Owner of Mo-chica, Paiche and Picca. “Chefs have world-class produce at their fingertips — or growing on-site like we do at Post & Beam — which means more room to play with seasonal ingredients. I’m excited to celebrate with our regulars and welcome new faces during dineLA Restaurant Week."
"Residents and travelers from near and far can explore LA’s culinary landscape during dineLA’s Restaurant Week," said Stacey Sun, dineLA Director. "The summer schedule lends itself to a wide range of dining experiences — from poolside to patio, oceanfront to garden — all at an incredible value.”
In addition to specially priced prix-fixe menus at top restaurants, American Express will offer a $5 statement credit to diners who register an eligible American Express Card between June 23 and July 26. The cardholder must spend $21 or more with the registered card at an associated restaurant. Participating hotels in Los Angeles are sweetening the deal by offering a $50 American Express gift card when guests book two nights or more during the week.
