If you’ve ever loved your Mercedes-Benz so much that you jokily wished you could live in it. Well, now’s your chance come November. The luxury automaker partnered with Frasers Hospitality to create six luxury-serviced apartments in Kensington which feature cutting-edge design and innovative technologies. The Mercedes-designed residences will measure around 538 to 1,076 square feet and will cater to "business travelers and individuals who don't want to compromise on style and comfort when they are away from home.”
So how will the short-term rentals feel like Mercedes on the inside? The flats will boasts monochromatic color schemes with minimal pops of maroon accents, sculptured sofas, media wall with integrated smart TV and high-gloss black finish, an S-shaped Swarovski crystal chandelier and high-end entertainment systems. All the amenities and furnishings aside, the apartments just look pretty cool in general.
Conceived by Daimler's business innovation department, the serviced apartments are a part of a pilot project which will introduce more Mercedes residences in Singapore next year. "More and more people are permanently on the move. They live and work in unfamiliar cities where they are looking for a 'home away from home' and a sense of security. That's exactly what we want to offer them, and at the very highest level and with the perfection and quality that you'd expect from Mercedes-Benz," said Wilfried Steffen, head of the Business Innovation department, in a release. The flats cost up to around USD $620 a night, or USD $4,300 a month
