Rao's

Aside from the Neapolitan cuisine, the atmosphere at Rao's is pure old-school. The dark wood-paneled walls in the string of dining rooms and individual spaces are blanketed with signed photos of friends, celebrities, family and presidents of past and present.

The multi-sided, dark oak bar is usually ringed with singles who stop to sip a libation and watch the action in the main room that features a 25-foot-high domed ceiling. During the day the outdoor terrace with a bocce ball court is always buzzing and at night the 50-seat lounge offers a cool nightcap.
