The Las Vegas Palms Casino Resort is amping up their social factor with the addition of two new venues— Scarlet and SOCIAL. Scarlet, which has been created by 9Group Las Vegas, is opening on the 25th of January and will feature a space that is seductively lit with deep red lighting. With an emphasis on sophisticated mixology and signature cocktails, Executive Director of Mixology and Spirits Educator for Southern Wine, Francesco Lafranconi, will be at the bar’s helm delivering a unique menu of drinks, infused spirits, and original shots.
A few specials found at Scarlet will include s’more style shots and the Alive & Well made with Platino Rum, fresh lime sour, grapefruit sorbet and maraschino mist. The 200 square-feet of intimate space can be found adjacent to The Palm’s N9NE Steakhouse and will be open nightly Friday & Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday-Thursday at 4 p.m. Also opening on January 25th is SOCIAL, which has claimed space in the center of the newly renovated Palm’s casino floor. The new bar will specialize in whiskey-based cocktails, featuring over 30 unique labels as well as single malts and limited edition bourbons.
Patrons can kick back in a plush booth or tuck themselves away at an intimate table, watch the gaming activities from a comfortable distance or socialize at the bar. Inventive drink recipes at SOCIAL will include offerings such as the Social Misfit, which blends Bulliet Rye, Disaronno, White Peach Nagomi, and lemon juice or the Socialite, made with a mix of Wild Turkey Honey, Aperol, sweet Vermouth, lemon juice and raspberries. Guests can also get involved with events such as “Mixology Days,” which include guidance on cocktail preparation or join in the Whiskey SOCIAL club featuring tastings by master distillers and more. SOCIAL will be open 24-hours a day.
“Both Scarlet and SOCIAL will add an exciting new element to the redefined Palms,” said Joseph A. Magliarditi, President of Palms Casino Resort. “From the minute our guests walk through the front door, they can expect to have a fantastic experience with a great drink in a variety of welcoming settings.” The Palms has been undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation which is touching everything from suites and gaming spaces to culinary and nightlife additions.
