Classically trained in France, Executive Pierre Gornes is always a strong proponent of local market to table cuisine, the accomplished chef is wowing diners with his Southwestern French cuisine featuring California's ingredients. In her three-star review of RH in the Los Angeles Times, restaurant critic S. Irene Virbila raves about the "rich and rustic terrines", "the insanely delicious périgourdine poached egg." In the same review, she says the duck confit is the best she's had in the city.
