It’s that time of year again—Mother’s Day. But before you curse yourself for forgetting about dear old mom and call in an order of emergency roses, you might want to try booking her a room at Thompson Chicago. The hotel has introduced a limited-edition experience just in time to celebrate the matriarch in your family. The hotel’s Mother’s Day Penthouse Package is available for one night only, and treats moms to the very best the property has to offer.
Available exclusively on Saturday May 9, the package includes accommodations for one night in a terrace penthouse, an al fresco brunch provided by Chef Paul Kahan’s award-winning restaurant Nico Osteria on the balcony (with swanky skyline and lakefront views), and an in-room mimosa bar. Mom will also be pampered with an in-suite massage where dad (or her favorite child) can join her for an hour-long session.
As the hotel is centrally located, you and mom can also take advantage of the late check-out time and shop the boutiques in the area or make reservations at one of the award-winning restaurants downtown. But what we love most about this package is that mom gets the experience she deserves without anyone having to wrap presents, organize brunches or order flowers. Actually—you should still order her flowers.
Prices start at $1,990 a night.
