Levine Museum of the New South's mission is to bring the history and stories of the South since the Civil War to its visitors through an interactive museum and self-guided tours of exhibits such as the Cotton Fields. Considering the years after 1865 as "The New South," the Levine Museum offers a comprehensive interpretation of men, women, children, black and white residents, and the rich and poor who've helped shape the post-Civil War South. With a collection of materials, sounds, sights and exhibits, the museum allows guests to fully dive into the historical context of our nation's past.
