If you’re in Los Cabos this weekend, make sure to visit the third annual Cheese & Wine Festival tomorrow being held at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Golf & Spa Resort. The occasion will feature cheese, wine and bread from 10 different vendors, including Vinoteca, Casa Madero and L.A. Cetto.
Since the disastrous Hurricane Odile hit last September, Cabos' locals have been working steadily towards rebuilding the area, and bringing it back to life as the vibrant destination it was before. With the community in mind, the charitable event will benefit the nonprofit Sarahuaro AC Foundation, which lends help to struggling families. Beginning at 6 p.m. on March 7, tickets for the Cheese & Wine Festival cost $499 MXN (about $34 USD) per person.
