With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, the Mandarin Oriental Boston has recently introduced a new rose infinity facial just in time for the holiday. The Aromatherapy Associates treatment starts off with a gentle cleanse followed by an essential enzyme mask designed to resurface the skin. It is designed to give the same effects as a face lift, but without surgery.
After this, a facial machine is used to stimulate the skin using micro currents to provide for intense absorption while reducing fine lines. The facial contains proteins that work to rebuild natural DNA in the skin and finishes with a soothing massage of the scalp, neck and shoulders to relieve tension. The rose infinity facial, which was inspired by ancient traditions utilizing a holistic approach, also features a refreshing cold stone massage to the temples and cheeks.
Once the treatment was complete, the therapist will give you a product recommendation sheet based on your skin type. For me, he suggested an essential enzyme mask, rose infinity eye serum and rose infinity moisturizer to keep my face hydrated during the remaining winter months. An hour and a half later, I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated knowing my skin had a fresher, younger looking complexion.
