It’s not quite summer yet, but the Atlantic City Alliance is already gearing up for their July 4th festivities. The DO AC Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore Fireworks is a two-show event funded by casinos in the alliance in partnership with the City of Atlantic City and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.
Over the weekend, the shows will be produced by Pyro Spectaculars by Souza who’ve done many big events such as the Macy's 4th of July Spectacular in New York City. The events will be held at the Boardwalk on July 3 and on July 4 in the Marina District, both beginning at 9:30 p.m. Each show will begin with a reading of the Declaration of Independence and will end with the finale song Stars and Stripes Forever by John Phillip Souza.
“Atlantic City’s July 4th fireworks are one of the top five fireworks shows in the country,” proclaimed Jeff Guaracino Atlantic City Alliance Executive Director. “July 4th fireworks support local businesses, draw upwards of 150,000 visitors and help to fill hotels, restaurants, bars and parking lots. We encourage everyone to make your plans and book your reservations now to enjoy this weekend long celebration.”
