Buckhead, Atlanta is about to get a lot more exciting for foodies, now that a new American Food and Beverage location will be opening its doors to the public this Friday, November 14 or by December 1 at the latest (official date not yet released). The restaurant, which is owned by Consilient Hospitality, will be pretty similar to the establishment's first location in Fort Worth, Texas, except the menu will be notably different. Executive Chef Jeremy Miller will be steering the culinary course, crafting a modern American menu that will focus on seasonal ingredients and local preferences. If you recognize Chef Miller's name, it's probably because he has also worked at Seeger's, Jean-Georges, and at the French Laundry before moving on to become the Executive Chef at Bluepoint and STK Restaurant.
In an interview with Atlanta Magazine, Chef Miller divulged that diners may be seeing duck pot pie "a riff on chicken and dumplings using braised chicken leg and gnocchi dumplings." He also revealed that the kitchen will be centered around a "wood-burning rotisserie from Texas" and that while the menu is still in process, it will feature a "house-made Chorizo and Scotch Egg— a classic dish that we take to the next level with different flavors and a Mexican influence." Speaking of house-made, everything will be made at American Food and Beverage, from the condiments to the pickles.
While these photos are of the Fort Worth location, they definitely give us an idea as to what the Buckhead spot will look like.
