Not a traditional luxury hotel hotspot, the new Alexander Hotel is designed by the noted architecture firm, Gensler, the Alexander will be Dolce Hotels and Resorts’ 18th North American hotel. The hotel features Plat99 mixology cocktail lounge space inside the hotel, designed by artist Jorge Pardo. A 2010 recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship, Pardo’s work spans the intersection of art, design and architecture.
