It’s a Family Affair at The Nantucket Inn

The Nantucket Inn

Just a few minutes from the best beaches on the island, tucked away from the hustle of busy downtown, and with convenient access to the airport, The Nantucket Inn was recently reimagined and renovated by the Theodorakos family.

During a stay at The Nantucket Inn, you’ll likely see the owners Vaios and Lauren running around to helping with guests, you may even see their teenagers helping with small tasks around the hotel. But it’s not just the Theodorakos family running the show, most of the team at The Nantucket Inn has worked at the hotel for decades. They know all the ins and outs of the area and have the experience and expertise to provide guests with a memorable trip to the island.

Nantucket has gotten busier and busier each summer, its days as a sleepy fishing village fading into a memory. But The Nantucket Inn aims to capture the nostalgia of your childhood trips to the beach, running around barefoot with siblings and cousins, gathering around for large family dinners, and enjoying quiet moments by the water. A short drive from town The Nantucket Inn provides a resort style escape, take a dip in the indoor or outdoor pool, sit and relax in one of the three courtyards, or work up a sweat on one of the two tennis courts.

The Nobadeer Cafe provides dining options right on site or guests can take the Inn’s free shuttle to downtown for shopping and dining. Or take the shuttle to Surfside beach for a day of fun in the sand. The long-standing team can provide plenty of recommendations for places to eat and things to do around the island.

After a day of exploring and activities, guests can enjoy a drink at Nobadeer Bar, or they can relax and unwind in the spacious recently renovated guest rooms. Decorated in a minimalist coastal style guest rooms have plenty of space for a family, or guests can book adjoining cottages to give them even more room to spread out.

The Nantucket Inn is open year-round offering guests the chance to escape to the island even after the summer comes to a close. Our personal favorite time to visit Nantucket is in September and October when the summer crowds have gone home making it the perfect time for a quiet island retreat. Rediscover Nantucket at the reimagined Nantucket Inn, you’ll feel like family and come back again and again.
