Breitling's latest creation-the Breitling for Bentley Supersports Light Body-will have its world public debut at the upcoming Baselworld 2011 Watch Show.
This watch will also use a rotating slide rule bezel. Juha Kankkunen had the Breitling for Bentley Supersports Light Body chronograph wristwatch on when he recently set a new world speed record on ice with a version of the Bentley Continental GTC Supersports. Kankkunen drove the car at 205.48 mph (330.695 km/h), breaking the record that was set by Bentley with a Continental GT in 2007.
Technical specifications movement: Breitling Calibre 27B, officially chronometer-certified by the COSC, self-winding, high-frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour), 38 jewels. One-fourth of a second chronograph, central 60-minute totalizer, combined 60-minute, 12-hour totaliser, and calendar.
Case: Titanium, 1,000-piece limited edition, water-resistant to 100 meters, screw-locked crown, bidirectional rotating pinion bezel with variable tachometer (circular slide rule), cambered sapphire crystal and glare-proofed on both sides. Diameter: 49 mm, dial: royal ebony, strap: rubber.
