Just in time for some much-needed pre-holiday de-stressing, the Four Seasons is debuting its worldwide Spa Week November 14-18, 2011. They hope to engage guests with not only their signature state-of-the-art spa experiences, but also seize fresh social media opportunities.
During this initiative, the luxury hotel brand is focusing on ramping up its social media presence in the form of a series of Facebook updates, Foursquare benefits and Twitter chats (check out #FSSpa and @FourSeasons all week long) led by spa experts (cheekily anointed as the ‘Curators of Calm’) who will lead discussions on industry trends (anti-aging, massage techniques and specialized treatments for men are just a few of the hot topics) and provide guests with insightful tips to make the most of their spa visit.
It’s undoubtedly one of the most comprehensive social media programs created for an established luxury hotel brand, and we’re intrigued to see how savvy Four Seasons clientele will embrace it, and if the strategy will breathe fresh new life into iconic brand’s image. As JustLuxe’s senior fashion and beauty correspondent, I’ll be swinging by The Four Seasons Westlake Village location this week to experience Dr. Ronald L. Moy’s famous DNAEGF facial and soak up skin care tips from their experts on-site!
Additionally, the Four Seasons has partnered with American Express to provide guests with extended treatment time simply by booking with their American Express card at participating locations until March 15, 2012. Perks include 30 extra minutes of service when booking a 60-minute massage with an American Express card. How’s that for a little incentive? Four Seasons spa visits are always at the top of our wish lists, and this year is no exception! For details about the program and participating properties, please visit FourSeasons.com.
