Spring/Summer 2010 Trends Hot pants/cuffed shorts - Hemlines have crept all the way up the thigh, so it?s important to hit the gym this spring.
Thigh highs/knee socks
Reminiscent of my Catholic high school days, knee highs, and thigh highs are a hot trend this spring. Wear them layered in different textures and colors for a dramatic look.
Printed and floral patterns
Designers added color this season by making dresses, pants, camis, and shoes in brightly printed floral patterns and colors, abstract shapes and bold lines. Diversify your wardrobe this summer.
Sheer fabrics
Sheer fabrics are huge this season. Add some sex appeal by wearing layered sheer tanks.
Army Blazers
Blazers in navy, green, or black give a relaxed look. Get one for the cooler summer evenings.
Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs' 2010 collection was a kaleidoscope of colors as it was inspired by the theatre. From sky blue polo shirts to army green jackets paired with leg baring skirts, the Marc Jacobs collection was nothing other than a true hit. A spin off of the bright lights of Broadway, Marc Jacobs collection is a reflection of summer.
Michael Kors
Michael Kors is known sleek lines and clean shapes. This spring season he took it up a notch and modeled a significant amount of his collection after architecture shapes. Randomly placed zippers accented many of his pieces. His lavender top paired with beige shorts was a favorite. For evening, the sequin dresses, the black specifically, was the sexiest and most sophisticated of the collection.
Versace
Versace is known for classically sexy evening wear. Slits to the hip and cut out mid-sections are what made Versaces sexiest collection of all time, an absolute favorite of mine.
