With origins rooted in Persian and Indian cultures, paisley exudes both classic and cultural appeal. And from JW Anderson to Stella McCartney, it’s one of s/s ‘12’s most desired prints. Accessories like Haider Ackermann’s Clash Belt in gold and magenta silk paisley and Jil Sander’s white poplin pouch, featuring neon-pink, green and navy droplet swirls, are easy to wear nods to the trend.
For something bolder, opt for A.P.C.’s belted cotton dress in red and earthy undertones or Etro’s corked platform wedge, which aced this season’s trend with its blue suede paisley pattern appliqué.
