I work with a pretty monochromatic closet; my idea of not wearing too much black means piling on the greys and neutrals. However, I’m a firm believer that these hues make getting dressed not only easier, but also lends a chic sophisticated feel to any outfit.
It’s fool proof — just layer on things from the same color family while paying attention to texture and color. I usually like to add just one accessory in a contrasting color to finish the outfit. A splash of purple on the feet, for example, is an unexpected, yet perfect complement to a grey ensemble.
