Nashville’s Sheraton hotel has undergone an extensive $35 million renovation and has been designated a Sheraton Grand, representing the hotel chain’s premier brand.
You’ll know you’ve stepped into luxury as you enter the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown. The lobby features a 25-story open atrium, with hand-blown glass chandeliers dangling from the ceiling. New York-based designer Anna Busta – the mastermind also behind W South Beach and the Viceroy - is credited with the re-design of this gorgeous property.
The lobby’s Library Bar offers a comfortable, den-like area for enjoying cocktails or reading one of the bar’s dozens of shelved books. The bar menu, true to Tennessee flavors, features 50 varietals of bourbon. Guests bar tabs are presented in a library book.
The rooms are spacious with a clean white, minimalist slate. Linens are often the mark of a hotel’s luxury level and these passed the test. The artwork is especially fitting for Music City featuring musical instruments and quotes offering a nod to country music.
As Nashville continues to be a desired event destination, the hotel’s renovation added 30,000-square-feet of meeting space. The pinnacle of the property is Skye, the upscale rooftop lounge offering unparalleled 360-degree views of the city.
The hotel offers a complementary shuttle to areas downtown but Nashville is such a walkable city guests won’t mind the stroll through the entertainment district. The Gulch, with Nashville’s hot new restaurants, are an easy walk.
There are currently 37 Sheraton Grand designations across the globe and 4 more in the pipeline.
