Celebrate Watermelon Day at BOA Steakhouses

BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood and Santa Monica is offering two special cocktails in honor of upcoming Watermelon Day on Saturday, August 3.

The celebratory libations include the BOA Fusion with Tito’s Vodka, fresh pineapple and watermelon and cranberry served in a tropical glass and perfect for hot summer nights. BOA is also offering a El Toro with Patron Silver, Red Bull watermelon, Licor 43 and tajin. This sweet energy energy-boosting drink has a spicy kick.

BOA is also offering oysters on the half shell at market price just in time for National Oyster Day on Monday, August 5. 

Other starters include their delicious Parker house rolls, Wagyu meatballs, toasted bone marrow, lobster tempura tuna tartare, Hamachi crudo, King Crab ceviche and their signature Tableside Caesar salad.

Known for their outstanding steaks, BOA offers Japanese A5 Wagyu cuts as well as New York dry aged strip steak, ribeyes and a variety of filets to choose from. Couples can order the 21-day dry aged tomahawk or porterhouse Brooklyn style steaks to share. Their special Japanese Wagyu flight offers a tasting of three Japanese steaks at 2 ounces each. They also offer a wide variety of additions to steaks including signature, chimichurri, peppercorn, horseradish, bearnaise, and morel mushroom sauces; herb and truffle butters; and peppercorn, blackened and blue cheese rubs and crusts.

Seafood dishes include a seared tuna, Skuna Bay salmon, dry aged branzino, Chilean seabass, Nova Scotia lobster tail, Hokkaido scallops and roasted Alaskan king crab.

Side dishes are equally delicious and include mac and cheese with truffle or lobster, mashed potatoes with truffle or lobster, black truffle cauliflower gnocchi, twice baked potato, chipotle lime corn, Brussels Sprouts and bacon, smashed broccoli, roasted asparagus, truffle fries and sauteed mushrooms.

Desserts include mascarpone cheesecake, Baked Alaska, warm chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, and flourless chocolate cake with toasted marshmallow.

BOA has two locations in Los Angeles, the West Hollywood location is at 9200 Sunset Boulevard and the Santa Monica location is at 101 Santa Monica Boulevard.
