When doing anything in the nation’s capital, it’s best to do it on a grand scale, to make some noise and grab attention. Washington D.C.’s, The Graham Georgetown did just that by investing in a multi-million dollar renovation that is sure to get people talking.
“From the moment I stood on the roof deck of The Graham Georgetown, I knew this was a special property. My goal was to create a hotel/restaurant that juxtaposes neoclassical design elements with modern comforts, while embracing the place and beauty of Georgetown,” said Camilo Miguel Jr., CEO of Mast Capital.
The upscale boutique hotel sits off in the neighborhood once called home by Alexander Graham Bell, right near M Street. The updated 57 guestrooms offer the sophisticated traveler modern accommodations with hints of Federalist Era design and architecture that point back to colonial styles and décor. The mix of chromatic accents and contemporary furnishings make for an elegant atmosphere, complete with an over-sized bathroom and marble countertops in the bathrooms.
Included in the renovations is the 3,000-square-foot rooftop lounge, The Observatory, featuring
panoramic views of D.C.’s exemplary sights. Guests can view out onto the Kennedy Center, the Washington Monument and historic Georgetown while enjoying handcrafted cocktails and delicious light fare. For the full dining experience, the sleek new A.G.B. cocktail lounge serves delicious farm-to-table cuisine. Exclusive to the hotel, Envy—a custom whiskey distilled for The Graham Georgetown—is available for tasting.
As a treat to its guests, the hotel has made sure to create a team of hospitality experts to oversee the wants and needs of its patrons. The intimate, yet luxurious hotel includes a variety of amenities that include a 24-hour fitness area, lounges, dining options, plush bathrobes, and Bvlgari spa products, to name a few. Be the first among friends to stay at the newly updated Graham Georgetown; their envy is sure to follow.
