A popular tourist hub for Indians as well as travelers from across the globe, Dubai is now offering more to tourists. The Summer is Dubai festival — a three-month long campaign that started on June 7, hopes to entice families on a summer break.

The fest that holds discounts on hotels, dining and shopping, also has a packed schedule with events for people of all ages. Saeed Al Falasi, Director — Strategic Alliances, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, explains that the idea was to highlight the city as a family destination. He says, “We’ve ensured that there is something every week to engage tourists. People may be scared of the hot weather, but a lot of activities are concentrated in the air-conditioned malls.”
