What a fitting contrast and unity, to see the great western mind of Leonardo da Vinci on display in one of the greatest Arabic cities, Abu Dhabi. Focusing on the practical aspects of da Vinci's brilliant machines, the exhibit hopes to emphasize the brilliant artist and engineer's forward thinking mind and ingenious creations.

The 15th to 16th century designs of Leonardo da Vinci will come to life in Abu Dhabi next month.

An exhibition dedicated to the universal genius of the Italian will be held at Emirates Palace hotel from June 5 to June 30 and will feature 40 of the real life-size machines drawn by the renaissance inventor and artist.

“We are very honoured to host an exhibition which provides very precise evidence of the excellence of Italian culture, technology, philosophy and innovation capacity,” Italian ambassador to the UAE Giorgio Starace said.
