eHealth Week 2013, the largest annual pan-European Health IT event began in Dublin’s Convention Centre this morning with delegates from around the world arriving for the three-day event.
Delegates at this year’s event include politicians, hospital managers, health specialists, IT managers and many others interested in the optimal use of advanced information technology and management systems in healthcare.
The focus of the conference is on how to create an optimal patient journey through our healthcare system. This will include successful examples of patient empowerment projects, showcasing how patients can get involved in managing their own treatment.
