via rte.ie The season of Gay Pride has once more befallen the globe with celebrations kicking off in cities from Las Vegas to Dublin, Ireland and with so much to celebrate this year it's no surprise that it promises to be one of the biggest years for Pride yet. Dublin's specific celebration was a ten-day festival topped off with a parade boasting 25,000 people last year and promising more for this year's iteration.
Large crowds are taking part in the annual Gay Pride Parade in Dublin city centre.
Today's parade, which is celebrating its 30th year, is the culmination of a ten-day festival.
Last year 25,000 people marched in the Dublin parade.
The theme of this year's parade is Live, Love & Be Proud.
